Conor O'Callaghan was born in Newry in 1968 and is the author of three collections of poetry, The History of Rain, Seatown and Fiction. He has been awarded the Patrick Kavanagh Award and Poetry magazine's Bess Hokin Prize. He is also the author of Red Mist: Roy Keane and the Football Civil War, and lives in Manchester. Winner of all of Australia's top poetry awards,
